DEPARTMENT OF Statistics PROFILE
The Department was started in the academic year 1998-1999 after the establishment of the college. The B.Sc,(MSCs) program with mathematics, statistics , computer science courses with English Medium was commenced with a modest strength of 30 students. In the academic year 2015-16 semester system was introduced under choice based credit system (CBCS). Later the syllabus was revised by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Educationand the same was implemented from the academic year 2021. From the academic year 2021-22 the AP Govt decided to offer all UG courses in English Medium only. The Department has been trying to motivate students to participate in the social service activities and community development programmes and inculcates ethical and human values among the rural youth.
